This year was my first time participating in Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out Boston. As a new designer in the Christina K Pierce Showroom on Newbury St. I recieved an invite to be a featured guest the night of the event.

The night was going to be a great one, I could tell, just by the way Boston was preparing weeks in advance, every brand and fashion related company in the city was creating their own buzz with give-aways, cocktails, and goodie bags to take home.
A week before the event it was announced Newbury St. would shutdown to traffic and display luxury cars on each block. Fashion was taking the forefront in Boston and I was excited to be a part of it.
Cruz and I drove up a few days before, because I had model fittings for my first Boston Fashion Week show later that month. We battled some crazy weather and a tire that continually needed air, but made it safely and ready for the busy week.
The CKP Showroom event was such a hit! Christina had fashion themed cocktails, a sample sale, and all of her designers work displayed around the room, including my own. The guests included some of Bostons fashion forward, FGI Boston’s President, design faculty from MassArt, photographers and family and friends all eager to enjoy a night of fashion with local designers.
I look forward to what Boston has in store for its fashion followers next year!
