With Mireya on the way in just a few months, time management has been so important. Being that this is my first pregnancy and everything has been a new learning experience (the constant sleeping, and feeling of nausea in the first four months, the energy boost of the fifth and sixth months and the sleepless nights and crazy leg cramps of my present seventh month) not only for my body, but my work with ENAMOUR. With not knowing how things will be time-wise once Mireya is born, I decided that I would do one show in September called ” The Artist’s Closet, and then take three months to focus on Mireya and production of the fall collection.
The Artist’s Closet is a fashion show founded by Trisha Tyler of Trisha Kelley Photography. She created the Artist’s Closet with the intention of showcasing artists both in fashion and design as well as fine art in one space. This year’s show will be held at the Talent Factory and feature an opening video at from the performers of the Talent Factory. Following the performance will be the fashion show. There are 5 designers in the show including myself. I will be showing my newest collection: T&L
A few weeks ago the designers featured in the Artist’s Closet had the opportunity to showcase select items for an event entitled Give and Glam The event was held in Newport RI and is an annual shopping and network event.
I showed three looks from ENAMOUR’s most recent collection inspired by the summer road trip.
To see the full collection on the runway please attend The Artist’s Closet, Saturday September 14th at 6pm. The show will take place in North Kingstown RI at the Talent Factory- 6171 Post Rd.
