This season I had the pleasure of being one of the feature designers in the Marilyn Riseman Symphony Luncheon Series. The coordinator, Jane Conway, has done a wonderful job keeping the tradition started by Marilyn Riseman alive with new and emerging designers presenting collections at Brasserie JO in coordination with the Boston Symphony Orchestra schedule.
When offered the opportunity to show, I decided this would be a great platform to present a retrospective collection, since this year I’m transitioning ENAMOUR Design House into accessories for the next few seasons. I decided to show key pieces from our past collections that inspired the creation of our eco-chic earrings and in some cases provided the fabric that is used to create our earrings. The Marilyn Riseman Luncheon Series officially closed a chapter of my design career to welcome the new opportunities unfolding. I look forward to designing full collections in the future (more on all of this in an upcoming post), but for now, this new world of accessory design has me excited and looking forward to all there is to come.
